Get ready, BMW Group plans 40 new models in the next 18 months

The future continues to shine for BMW. The luxury auto brand is welcoming many additions over the next 18 months. BMW is delivering 40 new or revised models in that span of time.

Chief executive Harald Kruger says the BMW group will introduce those new BMW Models during 2017 and 2018. That allows BMW to grow the brand decisively over a relatively short period of time.

The new editions include models from BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce. The exciting launch of these new BMW models should add to the already impressive allure of the brand. The aim is to keep pace with other luxury additions. With the exciting additions, BMW could certainly pace the entire competition. 40 new additions and revisions could lead to an impressive few years heading into the next decade.

BMW, a German auto builder, is hoping to extend the Sports Utility Vehicle brand in the process. BMW was heavy into SUV’s last year and had success globally manufacturing those types of vehicles. The manufacturer had a very promising financial year and could be in for several more with the new BMW models being added to the mix.

Rolls-Royce will also dip into the SUC market with new vehicles. The Cullinan will be large in size but still very luxurious. It’s expected to rival the Bentley Bentayga. The goal of the new product is to still give customers the “magic-carpet” ride experience.

Some of the new BMW models will include a new X2 SUV, an X3 and an X7. Since the X3 is a high seller for the luxury manufacturer, it will be an important addition for BMW. The BMW i8 Spyder could also be introduced. The year will include unprecedented additions and revisions. Fans of the luxury brand will inevitably be awaiting their opportunities to take the new vehicles for a spin.
